Day 21

Tuesday! Rehearsal day! We’re singing the Verdi Opera Aida. The music is great. The chorus is great. And I cannot wait for the first weekend in February to sing this opera with such a wonderful group of volunteer singers.

Day 20

Monday. Work flow. I’m pretty good at this. Actually, I’m really good at my job. While I tend to throw myself really into my work, I am also very good at taking time for myself, mandating I work 40 hours a week. That’s important. If you’re a laborer, and especially a salary worker, set your boundaries. There are times to work more than 40 hours a week. That should NOT be the norm though – it should be the exception.

Day 17

Look, you guys, I’m not great at this. This whole updating every day thing, but I guess I keep doing it, and it’s working, but uh, I’m pretty sure I’m committing to just the bare minimum here. I feel like whenever I catch up, I fall behind, and so… well, uh…… whatever?

Day 16

Today was a really long day, and like, I dunno what to think other than, I’m really tired, kinda grumpy, and I just want to curl up and sleep.  Oh well. There are other days.

Day 12

New Year’s Eve! Last night, for New Year’s Adam, we had a small friend dinner with tacos and this TERRIBLE movie called: The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Do not watch this movie. It is trash.
